About

Patrick Nolan, MS, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been in private practice here in Wilmington since 2002. I completed my undergraduate at Clemson University (GoTigers!) and later a Master’s Degree at the University of Wyoming.

I do a lot of work with children, young people, and families, but also work some with adults and couples. The children and young people I see come in with numerous issues including: anger control; negative behavior at home and/or at school; ADHD; anxiety; phobias; coping with separation/divorce or; parent/child difficulties to name a few. The adults I see bring in issues of life transition, separation/divorce, marriage struggles, relationship struggles, etc.

I enjoy surfing and soccer, as well as coaching my two sons in various sports. I really enjoy connecting with others on their interests and like to encourage them to remember to refuel through those interests. I have a client centered approach which keeps the power and responsibility with the client.
