The process can depend on the issues, the extent to which those issues are affecting one’s life, or where a person would like to be in the future. Therefore, a person might be involved in therapy for a few sessions or for sessions that may last for months.

2. How often do I need to come to therapy?

In the beginning, most individuals come one time per week, as we are building rapport and evaluating specific needs. As sessions progress, the frequency of the meetings will be evaluated by both the therapist and the client.

3. Will my insurance cover this kind of service?

Most major insurance carriers cover mental health services. Co-pays, deductibles, and types of services covered vary depending on insurance carrier as well as plans within the carrier.
